Everyone loved your band. You guys are fantastic! Y'all are at a whole other level that a lot of the local talent. I was very impressed with y'all's sound. I wasted my 20's seeing hundreds of shows around the country and have run bars with live music the last 15 years. I used to play all the time myself. I have a discerning ear to say the least, You guys are able to make some magic happen on stage. Looking forward to the next gig.

The Smack Water Band was the absolute best. They played for my daughter's wedding reception. I had several people ask their name and where we found them. We had all ages and all ages enjoyed them. Steve was my contact person and he was easy to work with, aiming to please, which they did and very professional. I do highly recommend Smack Water. I just can't say enough good about them.

Our wedding was the week of May 20th and our original band cancelled on us the week of (that Tuesday) due to an emergency surgery the lead singer had to undergo that Wednesday. Total panic on my end as the bride, right? I contacted Smackwater and Smackwater responded so quickly and through their sincerity and understanding we booked them on Wednesday (3 days before our wedding). They were a Godsend! They were a true blessing and a BLAST to have play at our reception! Better than we could have EVER dreamed or hoped for! To each and every member, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Neville High School Class of 1975- We want want to give a huge thank you to Smackwater for performing at our Neville High School Class of 75 fabulous 40 reunion! The music selection was perfect, the dance floor stayed full and everyone enjoyed the performance. ​Band news! 

​SmackWaterBand fans and friends, welcome to our site!  Thank you for dropping in! We thank you for looking at our web page and keeping up with the band. 2024 has been a good year so far and we are moving right along playing new venues and revisiting old ones. 

  We have been playing some awesome venues this year and made many new friends. 2024 is going great and it looks like it will be another great year for Smackwater!

     We want to welcome Phillip Welch to Smackwater as our new drummer! Phillip is a great musician and all around great guy. He is a good fit for Smackwater and we look forward to many gigs with him in the drummer seat!
